Steven Graunke is the Director of Institutional Research and Assessment at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. In his role at IUPUI, Steven assists with the reporting of enrollment information, completes data requests from schools and academic units, and participates in studies of the effectiveness of University College and Division of Undergraduate Education programs.
Steven has conducted over 20 workshops and presentations at local and national conferences. He has served as a reviewer for the Journal of College Student Development Research in Brief, the National Symposium on Student Retention, and in several capacities for the Association for Institutional Research. Steven has also been extremely active in local professional organizations, including serving as President of the Indiana Association for Institutional Research and as Chair of 2013 Indiana Association for Institutional Research Annual Conference. Steven is currently a doctoral student in the Higher Education and Student Affairs program at Indiana University and was named a Fellow in Institutional Research from the Association for Institutional Research and the National Center for Education Statistics in 2009. He received his Masters’ degree in Counseling from Ball State University and his Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry from Butler University.
